Great Five-Lakes-Land Flight

Experience the great lakes nestled at the foothills of the Bavarian Alps from a bird's eye view! We start over the Ammer Lake, the furthest north-reaching pre-Alpine lake, before taking in the Wessling, Pilsen and Wörth lakes. From there, we pass by the world famous Andechs monestary on the "Holy Mountain of Bavaria" – not only is it the oldest place of pilgrimage in Bavaria, but with its Bräustüberl tavern and beer garden, it’s a unique oasis for hikers.

We then continue to the imposing Lake Starnberg (also known for where the fairy tale king, Ludwig II died in 1886). We dedicate a special view to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Roseninsel with its prehistoric lakeside settlements. From there, we return to a fairytale monarchy with Possenhofen Castle (often called Castle ‘Sisi’), which became internationally recognised from the Sissi films starring Romy Schneider. On the way back to the airport, you will discover Starnberg, and also see the Würmtal and Leutstetten.
